Andy Monta�ez's powerful voice is truly a wonder, and the repertoire on Millonarios de la Salsa features tunes from his long association with Rodven/Polygram. In truth, Monta�ez's superb Oro Salsero compilation tops this one in terms of selections. But in any case, this material is marvelous, showcasing the masterful Monta�ez at every turn. The standouts are the two medleys (both El Gran Combo chestnuts) as well as "Payaso," "Genio y Figura" (a duet with Monta�ez's son, Andy Jr.), and "Chemen, Chemen."
