Made some minor organic SEO changes today to the MP3 Library stuff. Hopefully, this will help improve my rankings.

Added MetaInfoBlock control.
Updated MP3PageHttpModule to accomodate aspx filenames in path scouring.
Updated MP3CollectionUtils to add page filenames to sitemap node generation.
Updated MP3 pages to add page filenames to link generation.
Added Keyword and description info for artist/album pages.

Took the site down for twenty minutes from 2:00 PM EDT to 2:20 to publish updates.

New features and content are not quite ready for prime time, but coming soon (like within the next week)

Please do not use the MP3 portion of the site yet as I am having difficulty with the hosts and SQL Express.

I did some work on RobertMayo.com the last couple of days. I released a new version of PropertyMaker available here.

I added a MailingList framework to be used throughout all of the sites. I also added a Subscription Service for the application samples on the site. Through the service you can be notified when updates, revisions, and support are available for the various apps.

I solved my issue with the EMailManager assemblies being constantly locked in the /bin directory by removing the Interop entirely and marshalling the COM classes manually.

Finally added the Site Map page. Yay, now I won't get those nasty 404 Error Notifications for the page I hadn't written for 6 months. Pretty slick, actually. Completely driven off of sitemap config, which also automagically generates sitemap.xml for search engines.

Enhanced sitemap config/utils to expand blogger nodes and provide more detailed information. Affects Bread Crumb Navigation as well as sitemap page.

Squashed bugs, ironically, in the error notifications. First, that the images attached from memory to the Perists ASPEMail object were not coming through, which revealed a bug in the AttachEmbeddedFileMem method, which is grossly undocumented by Persits.

I then updated the EMailManager to create a temp file from the memory image and use its path to attach the image. In theory this worked. In execution this worked on my local machines. In the hosting environment, it did not, due to the fact the defacto user does not have permission to create directories.

So then I made revisions to the EMailManager so that it does not create subdirectories in its temp folder for each message, rather create a unique file name for each attachment. Sux, but it's the way it's gotta be.

Spent most of the day uploading DLLs and killing processes on the server, so intermittent downtime occured for most of the morning and early afternoon.

Initial smoke testing of site after publish revealed that Bread Crumb navigation for blog items failed. Corrected defect and republished.

The site suffered brief moments of unavailability during republishing phases (4 intervals of 30 secs. each for a span of approximately 2 hours between 4 and 6 PM EDT). That's alright, nobody was on the site at the time ;)

Took down the site(s) today at around 4:00 PM EDT for about 20 minutes to publish new changes.

Added Site Administration features. Must be a registered user to access most.

Added automatic sitemap.xml generation from defined config files.

Updated Bread Crumb links to be dynamically read from configuration file.

Updated the links to each blog post to be javascript, rather than dynamic usercontrol content. Improved performance significantly.

Improved error handling, which included branched error handling pages for each site, as well as bug fixes.

Added some new pages which may not as of yet be complete.

Updated my TimeZone functionality to account for new Daylight Savings Time definitions.

Added Bread Crumb links to each page to help site navigation.

Added some items to the blog templates like new banners and a W3C XHTML compliance checker.

Added some functionality to the blog filter, adding links to each post for del.icio.us and fark, etc.

Added a filter to the blog filter, which will make links and images relative
to my local hosted environment. (has NOTHING to do with you guys, but helps me tremendously)

Updated some new pages which may not as of yet be complete.
